Ashes and Snow
I’ve been in Santa Monica since Saturday, and yesterday went to the Ashes and Snow exhibitition by photographer Gregory Colbert. It was extraordinary. The beauty and harmony that welled in the work touched our hearts. The only tinge was how staged the photos were, but they were wonderful, and it takes staging, and tons of real depth and content to do what he did. It’s a must see if you are in LA. Also, the structure is amazing…a very large building made of shipping containers, cardboard tubes, tarps, hay, and wires.
