Mac Backups

Published by Spencer at 9:16 am under Personal ramblings,Useful tech

So you probably already regularly throw a CD-R into your Mac CD drive and drag all your important files to it, then burn a backup (you do, don’t you?).  But how about backing up your calendar, address book, mail settings, browser favorites, etc?

Here is a great article from Apple that shows how to get at that stuff and add it to your backup CD.

What, you’re not doing regular backups?  How about doing one every Sunday evening, or the first of every month?  Every groundhogs day?  And of course now that you’re read this, your disk will probably fail if you don’t do a backup now (and won’t fail if you do!).
