Sync is Hard
I helped develop the BREW mobile client for Verdisoft under contract from Rocket Mobile. They didn’t ship a product, but did get acquired by Yahoo. Marco is a strong personality with an intense management style. I saw a lot of employees there put everything (I mean everything) into their work. I hope they saw some monetary reward in the outcome!
Sync is Hard. Lots of companies have spent a lot of money to do it with marginal results, especially when you try to do it right – N-way including mail and calendar, in all directions, with lots of types of devices!
